Last night while everyone and their neighbors were mesmerized by the beautiful women walking up and down the Victoria Secrets Fashion Show catwalk, I was balling my eyes out as I watched the last episode, the “final ride” of the best TV series to date, Sons of Anarchy.
I am overwhelmed with grief and sadness. It is with a heavy, heavy heart that I am forced to say goodbye to probably one of the best shows ever made!
Chris and I have been obsessed with SOA from the beginning. If you haven’t seen it, I urge you to PLEASE watch it. You can find the first six seasons on Netflix. You will be glued to your television screen. No joke. The storyline, the characters, the chaos, the twists, it will blow your mind. Season after season, Kurt Sutter, the amazing and talented creator/writer never fails to amuse us and keeps us wanting more! Between Charlie Hunnam’s (Um, hello? and you’re welcome!) good looks accompanied with his remarkable acting skills, you’ll be hooked and in love all at once. The entire cast is unbelievable.
Just a quick synopsis: SAMCRO (aka Sons of Anarchy) is a motorcycle club that conducts both legal and illegal business in and around the small town of Charming. They run guns, have a garage and are involved in the porn industry (Yes, what a mix, right?). Picture biker gang meets the Soprano’s, sick, twisted and absolutely compelling. Normally, I don’t watch this kind of stuff, but that proves just how darn good it really is.
I can’t thank Mr. Sutter enough for filling my Tuesday nights with extreme violence, sex, love affairs, bizarre and gruesome acts of weirdness all in one. The characters you love to hate, the entire crew just brought to life an incredible series. Everything was just beyond words. My life will never be the same, ever. And I will miss Jax Teller, oh so dearly! (Sob).
